About Us

 Our motto

We sell happiness, not just ice cream.

History

All it took was one bad day, one craving for ice cream and two very broke students.

That’s how it all started.

Growing up in the suburbs, ice cream treats were rare as ice cream trucks only came by

fortnightly and the nearest parlor was kilometers away, serving ice cream which cost them their

allowance for the entire day. Ice popsicles were the next best alternative, but it could never entice

Melly and Marlene as much as ice cream did.

That’s when they decided to make their own. It was a wildly successful attempt and Melly and

Marlene never looked back ever since.

Rest assured, Melly and Marlene’s expertise in innovating indulgence didn’t just happen by

accident. They learnt how to create a variety of frozen desserts during a summer internship with

an ice-cream guru.

Milly Moo’s first started as a home based business, relying only on word of mouth reviews. As

the ring-a-ling ice cream truck never fails to elicit nostalgia in Melly and Marlene, they bought

their very first ice cream truck when they graduated.

With that, Milly Moo’s was born.

Keeping the tradition

12 years on and the original ice cream truck is still in operation, serving hand-made ice-cream

made from scratch, exactly like how Milly Moo’s started.

Goals & Objectives

Milly Moo’s aims to use only the finest ingredients, for their customers deserve the best. Milly

Moo’s also pledges to be as environmental friendly as possible. In addition, we want to give back

to the society as much as we can.

Plans

Melly and Marlene intends to add another 300 more ice-cream trucks around the world by the

end of 2012. In addition, these new trucks will be hybrid electric vehicles, reducing its CO2

emissions and environmental impact.
